Who doesn’t like cheese cake? I do. I looooove cheese cake. An I’m absolutely in love with this recipe. They look like buns but they are made almost only from cheese. A perfect snack after a workout. With some modifications can easily suit paleo or keto diet.
- 500g of cream cheese
- 2 eggs
- 30g of coconut flour
- 60g of rice flour
- whey (I used iso whey zero from BioTech USA vanilla flavor)
- 50g of agave syrup (or other sweetener)
- 10g of coconut shreds
- a tiny bit of lemon essence (I added also juice from 1/2 lime)
- banana, dark chocolate, strawberries and other berries, black currant, peanut butter or anything else you want for the topping
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C (356 F). Mix all ingredients (except the topping;-) well. Cover baking tray with baking parchment. Form with wet hands buns (the batter will be a bit sticky so wet your hands well before forming each bun). Cover with the topping of your choice. Place in the oven for about 30min. Et voila! Buns are ready:-)
I made 6 buns. 1 bun= 239 kcal
Carbs- 19,7g Fats- 6,8g Protein- 21,1g
It is matching my macro but if you want to lower amount of carbs you can replace rice flour with coconut flour and add another egg to help it hold the batter.
